Overview: The CFS RAI is the globally-negotiated instrument on responsible investment in agriculture and food systems, adopted by the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) in 2014. The Principles cover public, private and blended investments.

Links to other global instruments: The CFS RAI take into account existing guiding frameworks such as the Principles for Responsible Agricultural Investment that respects rights, livelihoods, and resources, the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance on Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security and the Voluntary Guidelines on the Progressive Realization of the Right to Adequate Food in the Context of National Food Security.
